HISTORY

VEGETABLE OILS PRODUCER

rare & premium

Nestled in the heart of southwestern France,
Perles de Gascogne is a family-owned company specializing in the production of cold-pressed virgin oils.
Our story began in 2001, driven by the passion and creativity of our founder, Jean-Pierre Clavie. With the creation of plum Oil, he became a pioneer in the circular economy.
Today, his legacy lives on through his descendants and their team, who uphold Perles de Gascogne’s artisanal and traditional values while embracing innovation and modernity !

HAZELNUT OIL

At the heart of history

Since the beginning of the 1980s, the CLAVIE family has been producing hazelnuts in Lot-et-Garonne, in the heart of the South-West.

In the mid-90s, Jean-Pierre CLAVIE and his daughter Nathalie began manufacturing virgin hazelnut oil from fruits grown in the family orchards.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The core values of Perles de Gascogne

Back in the 1990s, the circular economy was not yet a hot topic when the idea of upcycling Agen prune pits first took root in Jean-Pierre’s mind.

INVENTION OF PLUM OIL

Unwittingly and unknowingly, from his orchards, Jean-Pierre became a pioneer of “UPCYCLING” with his invention of plum oil.

This “heartthrob” oil has experienced remarkable growth since its inception, gaining recognition in both Haute Cuisine and the cosmetics industry.
